Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Midland, Texas. This role is pivotal in ensuring invoices are accurately coded, processed, and reconciled in a timely manner. As part of a long-term contract position, you will collaborate closely with supply chain leadership and contribute to maintaining efficient vendor relationships. Responsibilities: • Review vendor rates to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreed terms. • Identify and dispute any discrepancies in invoices promptly. • Code invoices daily to maintain accurate financial records. • Track rental equipment, including light towers, and compile weekly reports for verification by field consultants. • Generate rental reports for production, automation, and water departments, detailing all assets currently on rent. • Work with vendors to maintain an up-to-date yearly rate sheet, ensuring timely submission and review of rental rates. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all updated rates are appropriately filed and accessible. • Process approved invoices and manage check runs efficiently. • Support reconciliation efforts to maintain accurate accounts payable records. Requirements • Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and data entry. • Strong skills in account reconciliation and vendor management. • Experience with software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Ability to create and manage Excel formulas for streamlined data tracking. • Familiarity with invoice processing and check run procedures. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to maintain effective vendor relationships. • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records. • Proven experience in managing and processing approved invoices.
