Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Yonges Island, South Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining seamless financial operations by managing invoice processing, reconciliations, and other critical accounting tasks. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your expertise in accounts payable while contributing to the success of a dynamic transport industry organization. Responsibilities: • Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to vendors. • Perform account reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of financial records. • Manage coding of invoices to appropriate accounts in compliance with company policies. • Conduct regular check runs to ensure smooth payment cycles. • Input financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address payment-related inquiries. • Utilize accounting software such as Dynamics 365, QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle for daily tasks. • Generate reports and maintain organized financial documentation for audit purposes. • Follow best practices in accounts payable processes to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role. • Proficiency in accounting software, including Dynamics 365, QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with invoice processing and coding procedures. • Ability to perform accurate account reconciliations and check runs. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
