Accounts Payable Associate
Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate

Job Description

In this role, you will enable the business to meet its agreements and external regulatory requirements. Collaborating with the plant finance team, you will ensure the accurate tracking and processing of all transactions and verify that invoices comply with fiscal and internal control requirements.

Responsibilities

Support the month-end close process and prepare and validate journal entries.Reconcile purchasing receipts to accounts payable ledgers.Review, edit, and ensure accurate accounts payable data.Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts.Review invoices and statements with the purchasing department.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in accounts payable processes, balance sheet reconciliation, and invoice processing.Strong skills in SAP and reconciliation techniques.Solid understanding of accounting principles and invoicing procedures.Effective data entry and purchase order management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields is preferred.Minimum of 1-3 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.Experience with SAP and Infor LX systems or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
