Luxury Brand looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Miami, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization by managing and streamlining accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial operations and demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies, maintaining vendor relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain updated accounts payable aging reports.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices, collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving any disputes promptly.
• Manage and update vendor master data files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and current.
• Prepare detailed accounts payable reports for management, highlighting trends and performance metrics.
• Support month-end and year-end financial activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Administer the corporate travel and expense program, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Identify opportunities for process automation within accounts payable using tools like Power Automate and Excel macros.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on Accounting or Procurement.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
• Familiarity with SAP Financials or similar enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounts payable best practices, and travel and expense policies.
• Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, procurement, and travel and expense management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
