Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Monroe, North Carolina. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the accounting operations by managing high-volume invoice processing and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Process and code invoices accurately while ensuring timely approvals and payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage vendor relationships, including maintaining vendor files and addressing any discrepancies.
• Handle high-volume invoicing, including data entry and payment preparation.
• Review and resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure smooth processing.
• Prepare and process weekly check requests and ACH payments.
• Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox to address inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support billing functions and account reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all payable transactions.
• Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities as needed.
Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable, including high-volume invoice processing.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and billing functions.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and handle discrepancies efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ACH payments and check processing.
• Effective communication skills for managing vendor relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
