The Transportation and Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for managing financial transactions related to transportation expenses within Barry Callebaut. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to transportation vendors. The Transportation and Vendor Management Analyst works closely with internal team members and Barry Callebaut carriers to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain positive relationships with transportation providers.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

Manages all aspects of billing relationships with vendors and carriers; recommends and implements process improvements. Investigates and resolves problems associated with the processing of invoices. Communicate with plants and transport planners to confirm transportation charges. Assist with any external audit request. Participates in special projects as needed. Provide remote support to various sites across the US and Canada.

 

About you:

 

College degree in Engineering or Business Administration, with coursework in Accounting. 1+ year of experience in a Supply Chain/Operations function in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in English – oral and written. TMS and SAP experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office Suite; Excel. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
