Accounts Payable Analyst
Accounts Payable Analyst | Tampa, FL Job Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join a growing team in Tampa. This position offers the opportunity to be a key player in expanding the accounts payable footprint. The role involves processing a high volume of invoices and analyzing them for discrepancies or errors, while also assisting vendors with invoicing inquiries. Responsibilities + Process a high volume of invoices using a 3-way match method. + Analyze invoices for discrepancies or errors. + Work independently and collaboratively, being the sole person responsible for reporting and a backup for processing. + Assist vendors with invoicing inquiries or errors. + Set up new vendors in the system as needed. + Analyze invoice discrepancies and provide solutions. Essential Skills + High school diploma or GED required. + Minimum of 2 years of full cycle accounts payable experience with mid to large sized corporations. + Proficiency in AP reporting. + Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros. + Solid understanding of accounts payable processes. + Experience with SAP or other large software systems such as Oracle or Peoplesoft. Additional Skills & Qualifications + While SAP experience is not required, it is strongly preferred. + Strong knowledge of accounts payable, including 3-way matching, purchase orders, and goods receipt. + Experience with AP analytics. Work Environment + This position is based in a professional work environment in Tampa, with the standard hours of 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM with a 30-minute lunch break. + The role follows a hybrid 4/1 schedule, with training conducted fully onsite for five days. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
