Job Description

Join our team as an Accounts Payable Administrator, a contract position that demands meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. This role is essential in supporting our accounting team through a period of increased workload and transition, with responsibilities focused on managing heavy invoice processing and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.

ResponsibilitiesProcess a high volume of invoices, ranging from 100 to 200 per week.Perform 3-way matching, including purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.Scan and file documents efficiently.Match vendor terms within our ERP system, Global Shop.Facilitate biweekly check runs, excluding execution.Utilize Excel for creating spreadsheets, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs, particularly for part numbers.Provide administrative and accounting support as needed.Run reports from the ERP system.Research work orders and purchase orders.Engage in problem-solving and data validation activities.Essential Skills2-4 years of transactional accounts payable processing experience.Competence in processing 100-150 invoices weekly.Experience with 3-way matching.Familiarity with ERP systems, with a preference for Global Shop.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working for smaller companies, adaptable to wearing many hats.Experience with Global Shop ERP software.Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred but not required.Work Environment

This position is based onsite, Monday through Friday, with work hours from 7 am/8 am to 4 pm/5 pm. The role is part of a small, dynamic accounting team, consisting of four members. The work culture is supportive, characterized by an open-door policy and engaged management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
