Description Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: + Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and authorization. + Match purchase orders to invoices and reconcile discrepancies promptly. + Prepare payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments. + Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any invoice/payment issues. + Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals. + Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve inquiries. + Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements. + Collaborate with accounting staff on special projects as needed. Requirements Requirements: + Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role. + Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. + High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar). + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Excellent communication skills with vendors, team members, and management. + Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience a plus.
