About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Clerk – Energy Billing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating, processing, and reconciling large volumes of energy bills. This role will suit someone who thrives on routine, enjoys working with large datasets, and has a proactive approach to resolving issues with vendors and stakeholders.
What am I going to do?
Validate and process high volumes of energy bills across multiple clients and energy and water vendors.
Ensure billing compliance with contract terms, usage data, and tariffs.
Liaise with energy vendors to resolve discrepancies or disputes.
Maintain billing records in reporting platform like Envizi
Identify and escalate billing anomalies or process inefficiencies.
What do I need to be successful in this role?
Previous experience in accounts, billing, or energy sector roles (1–2 years preferred).
High attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks, track outstanding issues, and ensure timely resolution without oversight.
Ability to manage routine, repetitive work with efficiency and accuracy.
Desirable: strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
Relevant qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
