Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts AP Audit / Papersave Specialist to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and supporting financial audits. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: • Process and code invoices accurately while adhering to company policies and procedures. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. • Manage check runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors. • Enter and maintain data in the accounting system with a high level of precision. • Assist in financial audits by preparing and organizing necessary documentation. • Utilize Microsoft Excel, including formulas, to analyze and manage financial data. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. • Leverage Great Plains (GPAC) software to support accounts payable operations. • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company standards. • Provide support for other accounting tasks as needed. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field. • Proficiency in invoice processing, account reconciliation, and coding invoices. • Familiarity with financial audit processes and requirements. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas. • Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) or similar accounting software. • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
