Help us build the future of corrections in Montana. *JOB SUMMARY*** The*Accounting Technician*performs accounting work specific to the management of prerelease center resident funds, including account management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This position is located in a correctional facility and will have daily contact with adult offenders serving on felony convictions*. *** *QUALIFICATIONS*** The knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to: * 2 years job-related college or vocational training in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance  * 3 to 4 years of job-related work experience.  Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. *BENEFITS*** Your service is rewarded with competitive compensation and generous* *State of Montana Benefits.
