Accounting Systems Specialist needed to support a large organization in the Miami FL area! This is a hybrid role!

Job Description

As an Accounting Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for transforming the Enterprise Data Management roadmap into a specific scope and set of features, organizing these into a backlog for the team. Your role involves analyzing data to define product strategies while collaborating with stakeholders and conducting direct guest research to ensure a clear understanding of business objectives.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with stakeholders to understand product needs and incorporate them into the product backlog.Lead design thinking sessions with delivery teams and stakeholders to clarify objectives and explore potential solutions.Utilize data and experimental evidence to generate and prioritize high-value backlog items through a value vs effort analysis.Serve as the Owner and primary author of documentation in tools like Confluence and Jira, ensuring objectives and vision are clear.Work with architect owners and technology teams to size and prioritize new deliverable requests.Emphasize 'fast feedback' within the team by being available to answer questions.Collaborate with technical and QA teams to refine user stories, business rules, and ensure clarity of objectives.Facilitate demos to senior stakeholders as needed to act as an 'information radiator'.Lead the execution of UAT testing by facilitating end-to-end testing as required.Perform other job-related functions as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting, process improvement, and revenue management.Bachelor's degree in Business Management.3 years of experience as an Agile Product Owner in product management, preferably within the cruise, travel industry, or enterprise data warehouse.Knowledge of modern product delivery practices such as agile and lean methodologies.Experience with product discovery and end-user research.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Keen attention to detail and strong collaboration skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with value canvasing and business case development.Experience with hypothesis-driven development and product experimentation.Proficiency in design thinking and facilitation of workshops.Persuasive communication skills to influence and motivate.Ability to adapt to dynamic environments.Work Environment

This role requires working four days in the office and one day remotely.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
