Job Title: Accounting Support

Job Description

We are seeking experienced accounting professionals to join a higher education institution undergoing a hiring ramp. This role is crucial in supporting the institution's accounting needs across various domains due to a recent increase in demand for senior-level resources.

ResponsibilitiesManage and process accounts payable transactions efficiently.Oversee travel expense reports and ensure compliance with institutional policies.Handle fixed assets accounting and maintain accurate records.Assist with grants management, ensuring proper allocation and reporting.Support payroll processing and related accounting tasks.Maintain strong attendance and punctuality while working onsite.Essential SkillsProven experience in higher education accounting.Proficiency in accounts payables, travel expense, fixed assets, grants management, payroll, and/or GL accounting.Experience with ERP systems, particularly Workday ERP (preferred).Strong ability to maintain attendance and punctuality.Additional Skills & QualificationsUniversity or higher education experience is highly preferred.Experience with ERP implementation is advantageous.Familiarity with Workday software beyond HRIS systems.Work Environment

This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role requires onsite presence to ensure effective collaboration and timely support to the accounting team.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $65.00/hr.
