Description Robert Half Contract Finance and Accounting division is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for our client in Nixon, NV. This is a temporary-to-permanent position that will be fully onsite, offering the opportunity to play a crucial role in the success of the Finance Department. As the Accounting Supervisor, you will support the Finance Department's day-to-day operations while fostering a customer-centric, high-performance environment. Key responsibilities include: + Accounting Leadership: Oversee the Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) functions to ensure smooth operations and accurate record-keeping. + Team Management: Supervise staff by assigning and reviewing work, resolving conflicts, coordinating training, and maintaining productivity. + Operational Oversight: Manage administrative duties, such as approving travel requests, purchase orders, and budget modifications while assisting with financial management phases. + Collaboration: Serve as the liaison for resolving queries from Directors and ensure clear communication with other departmental supervisors to maintain accurate financial records and data. + Process Improvement: Work alongside staff to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals, policies, and procedures. Requirements + Demonstrated experience in a supervisory accounting role. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment. + Effective communication abilities for collaboration across departments and resolution of complex issues. + A proactive mindset that fosters team development and ensures departmental objectives are met.
