Accounting Specialist Senior

Job Description

The Accounting Specialist Senior will be responsible for research, analysis, monitoring and other accounting functions, related issues and various financial control projects and processes.  It involves providing support for month-end close.

In the Role:

Prepare account reconciliations and resolve variancesPrepare journal entriesAssist with the preparation of timely and accurate financial reportsProvide good customer service when assisting branchesAssist with internal and external auditsProvide and review support for quarterly SOX and controls testingDetailed research and analysis of account balances and transactions

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required / Associates Degree in Accounting preferred2+ years of experienceStrong Microsoft Excel knowledge and work experienceAbility to follow established accounting and regulatory policies and proceduresExcellent interpersonal skills and the desire to interact with people at different levels throughout the day through multiple mediumsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and understanding for controlsAbility to manage numerous priorities and coordinate multiple deliverablesAbility to analyze, escalate, and resolve problems

Location: Irving Texas (Las Colinas)  - Flexible Hybrid schedule
