Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team in Middleton, Wisconsin. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, including billing, and subcontractor management. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced tools and systems to support seamless accounting workflows. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with subcontractors and engagement managers to develop precise statements of work, ensuring correct hours and rates. • Utilize DocuSign and own software to manage workflows and document approvals effectively. • Verify goods receipts by cross-checking subcontractor hours and billed invoices against purchase orders and time reports. • Conduct three-way matching for invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts to ensure accurate billing. • Monitor and approve subcontractor time reporting in Salesforce, ensuring reported hours align with authorized billing. • Address and resolve late invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. • Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies. • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. • Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding financial discrepancies and resolutions. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Strong knowledge of billing functions and account reconciliation. • Familiarity with accounting software, including DocuSign. • Ability to perform three-way matching for invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts. • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar time reporting systems. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial operations. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and subcontractors.
