Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Concord, Ca. This position will focus on supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions using Great Plains and D365 ensuring accurate processing and documentation of financial transactions. Ideal candidates will be adaptable, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities: • Process and match invoices, ensuring accurate batch reissuance. • Provide accounts receivable/ lockbox support by entering payments into the system. • Organize and file electronic invoices while matching them to records. • Perform data entry for physical invoices and integrate them into the filing system. • Handle check-related tasks, including canceling and reissuing outstanding checks. • Issue refunds for warranty or disclosure-related payments as needed. • Maintain compliance with established procedures for financial documentation. • Collaborate with supervisors to ensure billing and timecard approvals are completed efficiently. Requirements • Previous experience in accounts payable at an entry to mid-level. • Ability to adapt to various tasks, particularly if highly skilled in AP. • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and basic analysis. • Quick learner with the ability to navigate new systems effectively. • Familiarity with Great Plains accounting software is preferred. • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills. • Comfortable working with both electronic and physical invoices.
