Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in billing, and maintaining account reconciliation processes. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner. • Manage accounts receivable operations, including invoicing and payment tracking. • Oversee billing functions to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and maintain financial integrity. • Assist in general accounting tasks, such as journal entries and ledger updates. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and resolve issues. • Prepare financial reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews. • Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions and ensure proper filing. • Support regulatory compliance with relevant accounting standards and practices. • Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to address inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.
