Responsibilities

 

\n\nMaintain the general ledger accounts, including journal preparation, review and approval.\nPerform reconciliation of financial data recorded in the general ledger to appropriate supporting documentation and ensure all balance sheet accounts are valid, accurate and complete.\nReview and validate Capex related purchase requisition to align with group policy and procedure.\nRegular review of bank open items to ensure timely reconciliation and follow up on any discrepancies.\nRegularly review and monitor the reporting of fixed assets, intercompany transactions and etc, in collaboration with the SSC and the local finance team.\nSupport of cash management activities including performing internal and external banking transactions.\nManage IFRS 16 reporting including review, maintain and modify lease contracts in the leap database including embedded lease reporting.\nManage updates and maintenance of the period-end and year-end closing schedules for the countries in scope.\nEnsure timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reporting and fulfillment of group accounting reporting policy and any IFRS requirements, including the adoption of global process and documentation of any deviation.\nImplement and maintain an effective ICS, this includes conduct assigned controls on a day-to-day basis, to create and store evidence as per Group/Division ICS policy.\nDeliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.\nFocus on building deep business knowledge for in scope countries to facilitate judgmental decisions.\nRegular engagement with country teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes and internal controls.\nSupport on internal and external audit activities.\nSupport documentation on work instruction.\nProvide feedback on the effectiveness of existing policies and propose enhancements when necessary.\nProvide regular updates to the manager on process completion and any escalations.\nEnsure data reported in CREST and local accounting systems is an accurate record of the results.\nProvide accounting technical support in collaboration with Accounting Governance\nEngagement with stakeholders on required follow-up if any.\nPerform Statement of Profit and Loss & Balance sheet review activities.\nSupport in identify and implement any process improvement.\nProvide comprehensive training sessions for new joiners on accounting processes, procedures, and relevant systems.\nManage individual who reports to the role to deliver the processes for their respective countries and review their outputs to ensure accuracy and integrity including KPI deliverables.\nRequirements

 

\n\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.\nQualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).\nMinimum 3 year of experience in accounting roles.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.\nProficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nThe candidate should demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn, especially in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.\nProven analytical skills, including the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights, are required.\nExperience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference.\nAdaptability and a willingness to learn, especially in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment\n
