Accounting Specialist
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Carrollton, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts. Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Oversee accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and payment tracking. • Handle billing functions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. • Collaborate with team members to support general accounting functions and meet deadlines. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. • Maintain organized documentation for audits and other financial reviews. • Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to address financial inquiries. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes. • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and general accounting principles. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors, clients, and team members. • Familiarity with regulatory standards and financial compliance.
