Key Responsibilities: + Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and collections while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing transactions. + Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity. + General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating entries in the general ledger accounting system. + Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. + Expense Tracking & Budgeting: Monitor and analyze company expenses and budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals. + Tax Documentation Support: Provide administrative support in preparing property taxes and other compliance documentation. + Vendor Communication: Liaise with external vendors regarding payment schedules and inquiries. Requirements + Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. + Experience: At least 2+ years of accounting experience, with proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Previous real estate accounting experience is a plus. + Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel. + Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data entry and reconciliation is critical. + Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies. + Communication Skills: Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
