Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Camden, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. Responsibilities: • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency. • Utilize accounting software systems, including ERP platforms, to maintain and update financial records. • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. • Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and streamline accounting workflows. • Work independently to meet deadlines while contributing to team goals. • Handle financial data entry and reporting using tools such as ADP, Ceridian, and Concur. • Adapt quickly to changes and provide solutions in a fast-paced work environment. • Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and financial statements. • Maintain organized records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts. • Support the organization’s commitment to its mission through accurate financial management. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Experience with accounting software systems, such as ERP platforms and Concur. • Knowledge of financial services tools like ADP and Ceridian. • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. • Ability to problem-solve independently and collaborate within a diverse team. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with various stakeholders. • Quick learning ability and responsiveness to constructive feedback. • Familiarity with auditing processes and financial compliance standards.
