**Core Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for Payroll Accounting and Controlling of USA & Canada transactions.
+ Complete and oversee month end close activities.
+ Strong collaboration with relevant internal and external partners.
+ Balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Participate in the LEGO tactical implementation plan to accomplish GL priorities

You will become part of Business Service Operations (BSO), which is a shared service center that delivers Employee and Finance services to The LEGO Group from 4 locations; Monterrey, Prague, Singapore and China. The purpose of the BSO is to create an effective and efficient platform for growth to support our strategy and reach twice as many kids over the next 5-7 years.
The Specialist plays an important role in developing the best in class GL department within the BSO. Seeking enthusiastic individuals to actively improve a strong department through collaboration and quality.
The GL department supports The LEGO Group with consistent, high quality and customer oriented execution of GL processes and team member management, and thereby enables the BSO to succeed in delivering great value to the LEGO organization.
**Do you have what it takes?**
+ Proven experience in Accounting, Finance or related.
+ Experience with Payroll Accounting
+ Experience with an enterprise wide accounting software system, preferably SAP
+ Microsoft Office at experienced level
+ Analytical, detail - and high-quality oriented
+ Be robust, resilient and ability to embrace changes, as well as having a proactive mind with a can-do attitude.
+ Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key partners
+ Excellent communication skills.
