Job Description
Prepare and review manual journal entries and ensure that bookings / accounting is accurately and timely maintained.Prepare/review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all balances are correctly held and that adequate reconciliations are available with appropriate documentation.Maintain control, allocation, recording and physical verification processes for Philips fixed assets and Payroll accounting activities.Perform and deliver month end closing with qualityDeliver financial statement analytical review from accounting perspectiveVerify compliance with accounting standards and regulationsSupport the local ORUs in providing accurate and timely data for group consolidation & reporting (Month End Close).Provide accurate & timely data for fiscal reporting and other requirements.Complete Internal Controls work in accordance with the Internal Control Standard (ICS) tool on a timely and accurate basis.Assist in the preparation for and execution of internal and external auditsRequired Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, FinanceMinimum of +3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, +1 in RTR/GL is preferredStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with accounting software (e.g., SAP is preferred)Good analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlinesGood organizational and time management skillsFluent in English, Japanese is preferred
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
