Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our clients team in Oregon City, Oregon. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will play a key role in managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate financial tracking. The position involves direct interaction with tenants and data management to support the department’s operations. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts receivable functions, including processing credits and debits accurately. • Communicate effectively with tenants through written and verbal channels to address inquiries and agreements. • Prepare and finalize repayment agreements in alignment with company policies. • Enter and maintain financial records in a database to ensure seamless tracking. • Utilize accounting software systems, including Yardi, to support daily operations. • Monitor and handle billing functions to ensure timely invoicing and collections. • Collaborate with team members to oversee financial processes across multiple properties. • Assist with contract administration and compliance in financial transactions. • Review and reconcile accounts for accuracy and completeness. • Provide regular updates and reports to support departmental goals and decision-making. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable and general accounting functions. • Proficiency in using accounting software systems, particularly Yardi. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data. • Excellent communication skills for tenant interaction and team collaboration. • Ability to create and manage repayment agreements effectively. • Familiarity with billing and collection processes. • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
