\nJob Summary
\nThe Global Business Services – Accounting Project Manager/CPA handles complex tasks for the general ledger and financial statements. Supervises and reviews work in assigned areas. Participates closely in preparing financial statements for assisted entities. Establishes a working relationship with the service provider, facility CFOs, their teams, and other departments. Trains and manages work, including projects.
\nEssential Functions of the Role
\n\nManages the assigned accounting work of a region or area of responsibility.\nSupervises work in an outsourced environment.\nOversees monthly close process.\nReviews financial statements and perform financial analysis.\nPerforms final review of account reconciliations and provides feedback as appropriate.\nManages accounting audits both internally and externally, interacting with external auditors and internal auditors.\nPrepares financial statements and underlying help.\nActs as a liaison with facility CFO and outsourced vendor.\nHelps in resolving reconciling items and business process issues.\nElevates issues and communicates relevant financial information to other departments.\n\nKey Success Factors
\n\nMaster's degree in accounting or 150 semester hours. This includes 30 semester hours of upper-level accounting courses and 24 upper-level related business hours from a board-recognized college or university.\n4 years of experience; public accounting firm experience preferred.\nProven knowledge of GAAP standards.\nAbility to perform accounting research.\nExperienced in working on team projects.\nAbility to manage work.\nExcellent communication skills.\nExcellent problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work well with others.\n\nBelonging Statement

EDUCATION - Masters' or Bachelors plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualificationEXPERIENCE - 4 Years of Experience CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION- Cert Public Accountant (CPA)
