Description Colleen McAuliffe at Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity in the Semi-Conductors and Electric Component Manufacturing industry in San Jose, California. The role is for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor who will ensure accurate monthly reporting, streamline accounting processes, and help maintain fixed asset records. The role is 100% onsite. Responsibilities: • Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications. • Streamline month-end close activities to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records. • Oversee billing functions and manage accounts payable and receivable. • Input local financial data into the ERP system and reconcile the same. • Review and analyze expense classifications and recordings for accuracy. • Assist in the creation of the monthly CFO package and audit fluctuation comments. • Implement efficiencies in accounting processes, reporting, and controls. • Coordinate compliance efforts and prepare property tax returns. • Maintain depreciation schedules and fixed asset records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Demonstrated expertise in handling billing functions • Experience in leading month-end close activities • Ability to prepare and review journal entries • Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software • Industry knowledge in semi-conductors and electric component manufacturing • Previous experience in a supervisory role within an accounting department • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and team management abilities • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
