Description
Our client is in search of a highly skilled accountant to fill the role of Accounting Manager within their team. This position is vital to ensuring operational efficiency and delivering accurate financial and administrative support across the organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values adaptability and initiative.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Prepare detailed and compliant financial reports, including monthly balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and income statements.
+ Oversee budgeting processes, manage financial distributions and contributions, and reporting.
+ Lead the organization’s annual tax processes.
+ Collaborate with internal leadership and external stakeholders to produce clear and accurate financial documentation.
+ Develop and refine organizational and administrative systems, such as task-tracking protocols, calendar management, and document filing systems.
+ Coordinate workflows with external vendors and partners, ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are met.
+ Take on special projects related to both finance and administrative functions as directed by the leadership team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of four years of accounting experience.
+ Strong experience working with external parties.
+ Advanced proficiency with accounting software’s.
+ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills to drive projects to completion on time.
+ A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.

Work Environment:
+ Hybrid work model: Three days in-office in Montgomery County, Maryland, and two days remote flexibility.
