Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Description The Accounting Manager role offers the opportunity to lead the complete accounting cycle and includes managing financial operations for professional services, SaaS, and international processes. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting systems, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, supporting budgeting and financial forecasting, managing two direct reports, enhancing processes through automation, and presenting financial information to staff. Additionally, the position focuses on improving workflows, implementing controls, and driving efficiency within evolving financial processes. Requirements The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least five years of progressive accounting experience, including handling full-cycle accounting tasks and financial reporting within a small business environment. Expertise in ERP systems (such as Deltek VantagePoint, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills is essential. A strong grasp of U.S. GAAP, payroll management experience (including streamlining accounting processes), and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities are also key qualifications. The ideal candidate must be highly detail-oriented, have robust analytical problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and demonstrate professional discretion and integrity. Preferred qualifications include holding a professional certification like CPA, experience in industries such as professional services, SaaS, or working in employee-owned companies, as well as familiarity with QuickBooks, or Deltek. The salary for the position ranges between $100,000 and $120,000, with potential for bonuses and equity.
