Description Primarily Remote Accounting Manager! We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to lead financial operations and reporting processes. The successful candidate will bring expertise in managing month-end procedures and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Oversee and execute month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded. • Prepare and analyze financial statements to support audits and compliance requirements. • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity. • Manage journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency. • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and productivity. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies in all financial activities. • Develop and implement strategies to enhance reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles. • Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including account reconciliations and journal entries. • Proven experience with financial statement audits and compliance procedures. • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools for efficient financial operations.
