Description
Responsibilities
+ Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close.
+ Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and internal reports.
+ Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory accounting.
+ Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.
+ Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning efforts.
+ Analyze cost structures and contribute to pricing and margin strategies.
+ Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
+ Implement financial systems and software enhancements as needed.
Requirements
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA a plus).
+ 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting; manufacturing or CPG industry experience preferred.
+ Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
+ Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Great Plains, Microsoft 365) and Excel.
+ Experience with inventory and cost accounting highly preferred.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
