Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in El Paso, Texas. In this Contract-to-Ongoing position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing key accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Supervise general ledger activities, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly and in compliance with accounting standards. • Coordinate and support financial statement audits, including preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries. • Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies. • Review and approve journal entries to maintain the integrity of the accounting records. • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance. • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and support organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting management or supervision. • Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger activities. • Familiarity with financial statement audits and ability to prepare supporting documentation. • Expertise in account reconciliations and resolving financial discrepancies. • Solid understanding of journal entries and their impact on financial statements. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
