Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee key accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Oversee general ledger activities, including account maintenance and reconciliations. • Conduct and support financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. • Prepare and review account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and completeness. • Monitor and post journal entries while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting principles. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes. • Provide guidance and leadership to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements. • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for stakeholders. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management. • Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities. • Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and compliance requirements. • Experience in preparing and analyzing account reconciliations. • Ability to post and review journal entries with a high degree of accuracy. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and leadership abilities. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
