Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee and optimize financial operations within our organization. Based in Ridgeville, South Carolina, this role requires a meticulous individual with proficiency in accounting systems and a strong ability to manage financial processes effectively. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and efficient workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Implement and maintain accounting software systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of reports.
• Coordinate auditing procedures and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.
• Monitor billing functions and ensure proper invoicing practices are followed.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage financial services platforms such as ADP and Concur to ensure accurate data handling.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting management, with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including BlackLine and Concur.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
• Experience with auditing procedures and compliance regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address financial challenges.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing a team.
