Position Summary: The Accounting Manager Non-US plays an important role in the daily functions of the Accounting Department. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of Future Metals Non-US locations ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, adequate internal controls, as well as supporting budgeting and audit processes. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to compliance and process improvement.
Qualifications And Competencies:
Responsible for ensuring completion and coordination of month-end close activities (ex: journal entries, GL trend review, fixed assets, OneStream upload and forms, and account reconciliations) for all non-US locationsReview / approve AP invoices and serve as a backup for preparation of wire transfersLead internal and external tax and audit activities for non-US locations (UK, Poland, Singapore, Spain, India). Ex: gather all necessary PBC documentation and support, interface with internal and external auditors, etc.Ensure compliance with company cycle count and physical inventory count guidelinesSupport the preparation of annual company budgets, forecasts, and financial analysisEnsure compliance with Marmon Standard Practice Instruction (SPI) guidelinesEnsure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings (Ex: VAT)Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting proceduresSupervise and manage the UK-based Accounting Analyst and support the development of accounting/ finance talent outside the USCollaborate with other departments to support financial decision-makingIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting and business processesBachelor degree in Accounting/Finance requiredPrevious experience in Aerospace or distribution preferredAt this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
