D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Accounting Manager - Builder. The right candidate willapply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Assists in maintaining budgets and projected costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manage accounting support staff Prepare annual operating budget/forecast on a line item basis.Prepare budget updates when requested by region/corporateReconcile or review general ledger accounts with corporate accounting (prepaid inventory, development jobs, earnest money deposits, etc.)Maintain general ledgerInterface with senior management and region accounting staffVerify that cash receipt entries and all journal entries are processedPerform ad-hoc financial analysis as requestedConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to travel overnight

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises 2 or more employees

CPA PreferredJD Edwards experience preferred
