From endlessly recyclable aluminum cans, and cups, to aerosol bottles, our goal is to contribute to a better community, society, and world.** **Position overview:** The Accounting Manager will be responsible for accounting,reporting and controls, capex, taxes and audit. **Key responsibilities include:** + Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, revenue recognition, lease accounting, fixed asset accounting and taxes. Ensure the balance confirmation from all AP/AR + Ensuring no delays in accounting and compliance is ensured + Preparing detailed Account Reconciliation quarterly andreview with Regional Accounting Manager and ensure outstanding points are resolved within agreed timelines + Ensure Balance Sheet related movement quarterly reporting, BS Flux, etc. + Monitoring and reporting of changes in Working Capital, Cash and Controls + Mitigate financial risk throw create easy-to-follow processes for customer receivable overdue and ensure to send to report to commercial team with loss of cost of capital and FX loss + Operatingas an ambassador for EVA in respective locations andsupporting local stakeholders to understand the guiding principles of EVA to Ball and why certain business decisions are taken + Compliance of direct/indirect tax regulatory requirements and tax planning + Supporting the annual audit and facilitate a smooth audit process **What are we looking for?** + Chartered Accountant / Bachelor Accounting + Extended experience in similar roles and at least 2 years of heading the department independently within a manufacturing environment + Knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes Oxley ) and experience of working under a SOX environment + Knowledge of changes/developments in taxation laws, accounting standards of the ICAI, corporate laws, labor laws, SEBI regulations and other legislation pertaining to business processes + Knowledge of Myanmar GAAP, IFRS, Accounting Standards, Indirect Tax (Sales Tax, Customs, Excise, Service Tax) and Direct Tax + Auditing, Taxation and MIS in a Manufacturing Industry, experience in a ERP environment + Fluent in English and Myanmar **Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
