**About the role**
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end financial reporting and controlling activities. This is a hands-on role that requires not only technical expertise but also strong leadership and team development capabilities.
This position plays a key role in managing audit processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, and driving continuous improvement in financial operations. You’ll also collaborate with global service centers and senior stakeholders, often in challenging and dynamic environments.
**Your responsibilities**
+ Lead and actively participate in the monthly close process, including preparation and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations.
+ Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and settlements.
+ Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements and variances.
+ Collaborate with Treasury, AR, FP&A, Tax, and AP teams to ensure accurate ledger entries.
+ Support internal control compliance under SOX and adherence to IFRS and Mexican GAAP.
+ Ensure financial statement accuracy in line with local GAAP and internal policies.
+ Drive process improvements across accounting functions.
+ Assist with external audit schedules and statutory requirements (RNIE, SAT, IMSS).
+ Prepare local financial statements.
**The experience we're looking for**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or Finance.
+ Solid experience in accounting roles.
+ Experience in audit support and working with global companies.
+ Desirbale industry background in FMCG or multinational environments.
+ Advanced English.
**The skills for success**
+ Deep knowledge of IFRS, Mexican NIF, tax regulations, SOX.
+ Proficiency in SAP, Office, and experience with HFM and FUSION.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and adaptability.
