Job Description:
As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in our finance department by managing billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and order entry processes. You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, contributing to the seamless operation of our accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.Assist with month-end financial close processes and prepare reports as needed.Track and analyze costs related to production, labor, and materials.Provide insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting.Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries.Post customer payments and maintain accurate records.Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.Process vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders.Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.Enter customer orders into the system with precision and attention to detail.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of strong, G/L accounting experience and/or public accounting experienceBachelors in Accounting RequiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or construction-related industry.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
