Description A well-established company in San Marcos is seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to lead its accounting operations and support strategic financial initiatives. This is a high-impact role for someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership skills to the table. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll. + Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. + Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals. + Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls. + Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy. + Implement and optimize accounting systems and processes. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. + Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. + Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics GP, NetSuite) and intermediate Excel skills. + Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
