Description Robert Half is partnering with a cutting-edge engineering firm in San Marcos, CA to find an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager. Your Impact: + Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger. + Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals. + Manage month-end and year-end close processes. + Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations. + Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy. + Implement and optimize accounting systems and processes. Requirements + 5+ years of Accounts Payable and general accounting experience. + 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience. + Experience in high-volume or multi-entity environments preferred. + Proficiency with expense reimbursement systems (e.g., Concur). + Familiarity with ERP systems such as Dynamics GP. + Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. + CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
