Accounting Manager

As part of the team, whether providing analysis, forecasting, or reporting financial information, your application of accurate financial business practices will play a fundamental role in how we impact the quality of life for patients all over the world. **How you'll make an impact:** • Review and assess the current status of accounting books, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BR GAAP and US GAAP. • Conduct reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. • Manage and complete financial activities including tax filings, month-end close, and forecasting. • Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, fixed asset audits, and physical inventory requirements. • Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements. • Develop project plans and lead global finance activities, ensuring successful completion within scope and timelines. • Provide guidance and leadership to smaller project teams executing tactical initiatives. • Collaborate with finance and cross-functional stakeholders to develop financial dashboards, global reporting, and analysis (e.g., plan metrics, cost of quality, financial tracking). • Analyze financial and trend reports, synthesize insights, and present findings and recommendations to management. • Analyze ROI of expenditures for strategic projects and initiatives. • Liaise with U.S. corporate finance teams to ensure alignment on reporting and compliance. **What you'll need (Required):** • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting • Certified Public Accountant (CRC registration required) • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferable in multinational or healthcare sectors and with management experience included **What else we look for (Preferred):** • Deep understanding of GAAP (local and international), SOX compliance, and financial systems. • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to provide financial leadership to outsourcing partners and collaborate with business unit stakeholders. • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking abilities. • Expertise in MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE) and database tools (e.g., QlikView) preferred. • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with ability to influence and negotiate internally. • Ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels and escalate issues appropriately. • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills. • Experience representing finance leadership in cross-functional projects and consulting within specific financial areas. • Commitment to company policies.
