Description We’re seeking a professional, energetic Controller to oversee the accounting operations of a multi-use retail and office property. This role is responsible for monthly close, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, while partnering with leadership to provide accurate and timely financial insights. Experience in commercial real estate is helpful but not required—strong accounting and leadership skills are the priority. Key Responsibilities + Manage monthly financial close and reporting (revenue, expenses, accruals, and reconciliations) + Partner with onsite teams to ensure accuracy and clarity of financial data + Prepare and review GAAP-based financial statements for internal and external reporting + Monitor receivables and assist with collection oversight as needed + Review lease agreements and other contracts to understand financial implications + Perform variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and capital commitment tracking + Coordinate with third-party tax preparers and ensure compliance with reporting requirements + Support quarterly forecasts and annual budget preparation + Hybrid work location Why Join Us This is an opportunity to take ownership of the accounting function for a premier Destin property, working closely with leadership in a collaborative and supportive environment.
