Confidential Accounting Manager - Western MA/Northern CT

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager with 3+ years of private accounting experience (must have experience with payroll - processing, reconciliations, etc.) to join our client's team. Key Responsibilities:

Direct oversight of payroll-related accounts as part of close (e.g., payroll liabilities, PTO, reconciliations, etc.)Assist with financial statement preparation and analyze financial reportsAssist components of the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsMaintain and analyze the general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAPAssist with project accounting and tracking project-level financialsSupport internal and external audit processes and ensure proper documentationCollaborate cross-functionally with operations and project teams

Qualifications:
