Description A well-established healthcare organization in Escondido, CA is seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager to lead its finance team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is passionate about maintaining financial integrity in a healthcare setting. You’ll oversee daily accounting operations, manage a small team, and ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements + Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis + Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific financial regulations + Supervise and mentor accounting staff + Coordinate audits and support tax preparation + Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures + Collaborate with executive leadership on financial strategy and planning Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role + Experience in the healthcare industry strongly preferred + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
