Description Robert Half has partnered with a dynamic and growing multi location retail company in seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about process improvement and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: + Lead the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close. + Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership and professional development. + Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports. + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies and procedures. + Manage audits, bank reconciliations, and account analyses. + Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support company-wide initiatives. + Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. + Identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvements, especially within the ERP system. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. + Experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) or a similar mid-to-large ERP system. + Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. + Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
