About the job
As Accounting Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the daily management of our accounting and payroll team consisting of six skilled employees. You will report directly to the CFO and work closely with other management colleagues in Finance. The role requires a motivating leader who is able to create structure and ensure high quality in deliveries - while developing both the team and the processes.
You will be responsible for leading and supporting the team in their daily tasks, including conducting development interviews and following up on set goals. You engage in setting a direction and create commitment through a trusting and positive management style.
On a daily basis, you are responsible for a number of central accounting and payroll processes - including debtor and creditor management, credit assessment, payroll as well as reporting and reconciliations. You work closely with our controlling team and have a keen eye for compliance and documentation, including in relation to SOX.
In addition, you play an important role in developing and optimizing processes. You work systematically to ensure documentation and back-up across the team's functions, and you take the initiative for automation where it creates value. You represent HAY's values and actively contribute to a healthy and collaborative working environment.

Daily management of the accounting and payroll teams at HAY, including development dialogues, goal settings, and the likeEnsure continuous high-quality deliveriesEnsure alignment to the controlling teamResponsible for developing and improving accounting processes (AR, AP, Payroll and Credit Management)Miscellaneous reporting reconsolidation (including compliance)Alignment to the SOX responsibleEngage in automation of tasks where applicableFluent in Danish and preferably master English on a professional levelRepresenting the HAY Culture, be a great colleague and positively motivate the accounting teamsAre you the Accounting Manager we are looking for?
