As the Accounting Manager you will be responsible for the control and planning for accounting activities for Emerson Process Management Flow B.V. This role includes financial & accounting compliance, financial management, financial planning and performance analysis and reporting.

 In this role your responsibilities will be: 

-   Prepare Internal Control Questionnaire and provide resolution of Internal Control Questionnaire audit issues
-   Ensure compliance to Dutch generally accepted accounting principles in P&L and Balance Sheet
-   Prepare for and support annual external audit
-   Maintenance and integrity of ERP system for Finance (Oracle), Chart of Accounts, General Ledger and sub-ledgers
-   Ledger Reconciliations (F/A)
-   Payroll Control
-   Prepare and support during moth-end-closing (accruals, check financials)
-   Correctly reporting for CBS and/or Dutch tax authorities 
-   Ensure the correct calculation and payment of the tax obligations, including turnover taxes, payroll tax and corporation tax
-   Proactive cost management using cost center reporting
-   Inventory controls, e.g., review of variances, reduction of scrap, slow moving and obsolete inventory

For this role you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience in related field At least 3 years proven experience in Accounting or Financial Controlling Fluent Dutch and English language skills; verbal, reading and writing Excellent computer skills (Business Systems Oracle, MS Office, with expertise in Excel, Access, HFM, etc.) Two independently verifiable references of previous employment and an official certificate of good conduct (VOG)
