Description We are looking for an Accounting Lead to oversee key financial operations and ensure accuracy in all accounting processes. Leesport in Pennsylvania, this role requires someone with strong organizational skills and a commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities: • Manage and process Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate data entry. • Oversee Accounts Receivable activities, including deposits, receipts, and customer payments. • Serve as a backup for both AP and AR clerks when necessary. • Monitor, analyze, and maintain accounting data to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Handle truck leasing accounts, which includes billing, payment tracking, and maintaining truck files. • Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure proper financial reporting. • Input data into accounting software with precision and attention to detail. • Utilize Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, to support daily accounting operations. • Conduct research and track documentation to assist accounting staff. • Review and collaborate on account reconciliations to address discrepancies effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in journal entries and general accounting practices. • Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. • Familiarity with equipment or truck leasing accounting. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve accounting issues.
